Even the man who President Goodluck Jonathan just gave Billions of Naira contract could not deliver for him. Apparently, many people, especially in the South-West, collected Jonathan’s money and still voted against him. In the overall, all those Jonathan trusted to deliver for him have failed him.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs (2), Musliu Obanikoro failed to deliver his polling unit to Jonathan who had expected some electoral magic from Obanikoro. Bode George and Jimi Agbaje also failed.
Also, in Ondo State, Governor Olusegun Mimiko, like Obanikoro, failed woefully to deliver his ward to the PDP and the President. OPC militant leader, Gani Adams, also failed to deliver for Jonathan.
See the results from their wards and polling united below:

1. Obanikoro
Ikoyi Polling Unit
Presidential: APC 62; PDP 38
Senate: 58; 44
Reps: 56; 38
2. Mimiko
Presidential: APC 72; PDP 22
3. Gani Adams
Presidential: APC 115; PDP 45
4. Femi Fani-Kayode
Presidential: APC 127; PDP 45
5. Jimi Agbaje’s unit
Presidential: APC 126; PDP 60

stupid jonathan ..money to elders, pastors and traditional leaders no longer win elections..the new Nigeria going forward consist of a bunch of idealistic and very informed people who see that their life today is worse than it was 6yrs ago...they want consistent electricity, good health care, jobs, good roads and good educationa system,so nobody will compromise their vote. Politicians are going to be forced to perform or get voted out...so four years from now we will decide buhari's fate........I am excited to see this new Nigeria evolve

Nigerians are very hypocritic....

Same people calling GEJ names are the ones collecting the bribes....and still failing to keep to their words.

Nigerians should know......APC and PDP are 2 sides of the same coin.

the victory today partly not a victory for buhari but a vote against jonathan because of his last 6yrs of failed policies...

This shows that the man is a God-fearing man. Many of war mongers calling Yoruba names on this forum should learn from him. Every time they keep attacking Yoruba for their woes. What they failed to understand is that Yoruba is the most diplomatic in Nigeria i.e. we are not tribalistic in whatever we do. These ppl from South especially the Igbos are the most tribalistic, they put tribal sentiment in everything and they keep whining and blaming the Yorubas for their woes. The last election all the Yorubas voted for Jonathan because we are not tribalistic, we believe in a leader that is capable and in one Nigeria
This time around we decided to vote for an Hausa man to give him a chance and next time if an Igbo guy comes in, we might support if he is capable. I am really sure the only reason why  all of them decided to follow Jonathan is because is from their side. All of them should stop this tribal sentiments

Is not yet over, GEJ remains the President until 29 May. Then the saboteurs in South West will regret why they made such costly mistake. So let's take a look of how Nigeria will be in first 100 days of Bokohari in office.

hehehehe, bad belle ............... ahhahahahahaha,  loser, try and be patient for the next ............

Nothing dey happen. the only people that will regret are the Igbos for allowing themselves to be used by other tribes as if they were minority. they should begin to demand for the presidency. the hausas and yorubas know what they want and how to get it. the igbos only ask for money and then sell their own people.
