President Goodluck Jonathan on Tuesday, March 31, placed a call to his opponent, Muhammadu Buhari to congratulate him on his victory in Nigeria’s presidential elections.

Jonathan felicitated with Buhari and also invited the President-elect to discuss on how to effect a successful transition.

Awww I really pity GED to be honest, although he said "he delivered on his promise for free, fair and credible elections" he actually did so kudos to this guy. Any other promises he couldn't fulfil,  people should not hold any grudge against him. He only performed to the best of his knowledge. Even though he failed in most areas masses were yearning for.

President Jonathan. I have loved, cherished and adore you since you became president of my sister country Nigeria. I am a Ghanaian but believe me I have loved you the more for the maturity and statesmanship you have demonstrated after the elections. I pray that the Good Lord would see you through all your endervous as you leave office. May the Lord give the incoming president the same wisdom and maturity to rule this our Lovely country Nigeria
