Son of Nigeria’s legendary musician, Fela Kuti, Seun Kuti has congratulated General Muhammadu Buhari over his victory at March 28 presidential election. Seun was one of those who vehemently opposed the candidature of the former military Head of State, accusing him of burning his father’s home.
The musician also expressed his joy toward former Lagos State Governor, Bola Ahmed Tinubu for working hard to bring change to Nigeria. The Afrobeat singer disclosed this known on his twitter handle where he wrote;
“I wan thank Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for bringing dis change, Aluta Continua.
“I wan to say weldone to all Niaja youths, Na una bring dis new wave of change come Naija oo, una warn oga Jonah e no hear”.
He also advised the Nigerian youths to support the incoming government to achieve its aim for the benefit of all. “We Naija youths can not go and sleep oo, Na now d work start if una want dis new govt to work & achieve, we b d real opposition as we all know”, he concluded.
