Recently, there has been a widely spread report that Nigerians are being subjected to xenophobic attacks in South Africa, but  Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, the Minister of State II for Foreign Affairs, thinks otherwise.

He took to twitter and posted the following

Nigeria and their system of governance, can't he give a press conference to address the issue rather than addressing on his Twitter account .

If they give a press conference, questions that they can't answer would be raised (eg. What exactly is the government doing?)
"We are looking into it" or "we are on top of it" or "we are looking into it from the top" is all the same as saying "we are doing nothing about it" or we've asked the ambassador to go there and look busy".
What and what has he done to ensure the safety of lives and property of Nigerians in the area? Simple!!! Going there alone is not a solution.
