SPORTS: De Gea, Hazard, Kane Nominated For PFA Player Of The Year

Tottenham’s Harry Kane, Chelsea’s Eden Hazard, Liverpool’s Phillipe Coutinho and Manchester United’s David De Gea will slug it out for both the PFA Player of the Year and PFA young player of the year award.

The 4 players were nominated in both categories, with Arsenal winger Alexis Sanchez and Chelsea’s Diego Costa rounding out the shortlist for the Player of the Year award.

The PFA Young Player of the year nomination is completed by Liverpool youngster Raheem Sterling and Chelsea ‘keeper Thibaut Courtois.

Hazard was nominated in both categories last year and won the Young Player prize but missed out on being named Players’ Player of the Year to Luis Suarez.

The nominees were voted for by players from 100 clubs involving the Premier League, the three divisions of the Football League and the the Women’s Super League.
