SMH! 24 Year Old Tenant R*pe Landlord In Lagos 'Cos She Smokes Indian Hemp

A 24-year-old tenant identified as Doris Okafor, who assaulted and raped her landlord was on Monday docked in a Tinubu Magistrates’ Court sitting in Lagos.



Okafor, who resides at House 43, 4th Avenue, Festac Town of Lagos State was arraigned on the count charge of conspiracy, rape and assault.

While testifying before the court, the prosecutor Sgt Daniel Ighodalo said the suspect had on March 18 and at about 10am assaulted her landlord.

Ighodalo stated that Okafor raped the landlord then conspired with four others now at large to attack her, Godwin Ulom in his resident in Lekki, Lagos.

The prosecutor said, “The student raped and assaulted the landlord after he had a confrontation with her for smoking Indian hemp as well as her alleged association with persons of questionable character.

“The tenant came to the landlord’s residence with four men suspected to be hoodlums to beat her up.’’

Ighodalo stressed that the landlord was severely beaten, adding that the offences contravene Sections 171 and 409 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011.

The suspect however pleaded not guilty to the charges.

The presiding Magistrate, Mrs Olaitan Ajayi, consequently admitted Okafor bail in the sum of N20, 000 with surety in like sum.
