EFCC Arrests Timipre Sylva Again At Maitama Home Over N48BN Fraud

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, today arrested Timipre Sylva, the former governor of Bayelsa State following his refusal to honour invitations to answer charges over allegations of fraud running into billions of Naira. The offence is said to have been committed while he served as the governor of the state. He was picked up today at his Maitama, Abuja home.

In line with the president elect's policy, no money stolen from government will go uncovered. But Efcc should make a tight case this time so that he should not be released from the courts like his predecessor who was suddenly pardoned by GEJ

Jonathan is doing everything possible to make sure Sylva is not appointed a minister under Buhari because he knows Buhari said he would not appoint anybody whose integrity is being questioned.
