20-Year-Old Secondary School Girl Stabs Undergraduate Boyfriend To Death

A 20-year-old secondary school girl, Chisom Anyanwu on Wednesday allegedly stabbed her undergraduate boyfriend to death in Ubomiri community of Mbaitoli Local Government Area of Imo State.

The deceased, identified as Abio, 28, who hailed from Egbeada in Mbaitoli Local Government Area of the State was said to have met his death in the hands of his lover following an argument between them.

It was gathered that the deceased visited Chisom’s house late on Tuesday, after she cautioned him against coming to her house as she would not like her siblings to see him.

Abio however refusal to leave, despite persuasion. This resulted to an argument and Chisom consequently stabbed the deceased in the chest.

According to an eyewitness, Abio died on his way to the Christian Medical Centre, Nworieubi after losing much blood.

The Imo state Police Public Relation Officer, DSP Andrew Enwerem, who confirmed the incident, said the suspect has been apprehended.

I have come to realized that taking one's life is as easy as killing a mosquito...imagine a 20 yr old secondary girl committing murder. what future does she have ahead if prosecuted and found guilty? God have mercy on us.
