Checkout The List Of Federal Govt Officials That Are Set To Leave Nigeria After May 29

Many officials of the President Goodluck Jonathan government have been drumming it into the ears of all who cares to listen that they will take a break outside the shores of the country after their administration’s tenure elapse on the 29th of May 2015. The popular opinion around town is that they plan to travel to avoid being investigated for alleged corrupt practices while in government by the incoming Buhari administration. Below is a list of ministers who plan to travel abroad and their reasons:

1. Alhaji Namadi Sambo (Vice President) – Heading to London for a well-deserved rest.

2. Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala (Finance Minister)– Heading to the U.S to resume her job ath the World Bank.

3. Mrs.Diezani Allison-Madueke( Petroleum Minister) – Already out of the country. To return for this week’s final meeting of the Federal Executive Council and jet out again. Exact excuse for travelling is yet unknown.

4. Dr. Khaliru Alha$$an (Minister of Health) – Has plans to attend the ongoing World Health a$$embly in the city of Geneva, Switzerland.

5. Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau (Minister of Education) – Exact excuse unknown, but he reportedly boasted that no amount of road block could stop him from travelling.

6. Senator Musiliu Obanikoro (Minister of Foreign Affairs II) – To travel abroad for a two-week vacation in Ghana, South Africa or US. Then start 6-week executive course in Harvard afterwards.
