Nigerian singer, Femi Adeyinka popularly known as Capital F.E.M.I has parted ways with his record label, Kennis Music led by Kenny Ogungbe. The singer, who has already moved on to 3six Music has, finally cleared the air on the reason why he left Kennis Music. A press release sent by his PR team reads: ‘This is to officially announce that RnB sensation Femi Adeyinka a.k.a Capital FEMI has truly finally left Kennis Music. We wish to clear the air about any rumored feud what so ever going round.  The artist and his former label Kennis Music ended their business deal on a cordial relationship and there is no misunderstanding whatsoever between them. There are reports from various sites circulating that Capital FEMI left Kennis Music after his contract with the label expired, that is not true.  The artist left on good terms for a good cause which his former label’s CEO Dr.Kenny Ogungbe supports. We would wish that the public and all media houses put the record straight while wishing the artist best of luck in his career.’ He now joins other ex-label mates like Jaywon, Minjin, Essence who all left the label when their contracts expired in the last 18 months. Reporters reached out to Kennis Music who also confirmed that the singer is no longer with the label, saying: ‘Our only artiste right now is Joe El and we aren’t looking at signing new artistes anytime soon.’
