The CBN said on Tuesday that the Bank Verification Exercise (BVN) will now end on October 31, 2015, according to NAN.
The Central Bank of Nigeria has extended the deadline for BVN registration, which is ongoing across the country, the News Agency of Nigeria has reported.
The Central Bank had earlier fixed Tuesday, June 30, as deadline for the exercise, warning that defaulters may not be able to access their accounts from July 1.
As the deadline approached, millions of customers spent hours on long queues at banks across the country, struggling to have their data captured

Dear Esteemed Customer,

This is to assure you that there will be no disruption or restriction to your account operations due to your inability to register for the mandatory Bank Verification Number by June 30, 2015.

We are currently working with relevant authorities on modalities to adopt for the registration of customers in diaspora and will keep you informed of new developments.

During your next trip to Nigeria, we encourage you to visit any of our branches to register. The BVN registration process is fast, simple and easy, it takes only about 10 minutes and your BVN will be issued within 24hours.

Skyebank...
