According to a report by the National Bureau of Statistics , Nigeria generated close to 500,000 jobs in the first quarter of 2015. The report said between January and March of 2015 , 469,070 jobs were created in all sectors of the economy. Former President ,Goodluck Jonathan ,was in  office during the period covered by the report. The former government claimed to have created 1.2 million jobs in 2013 but many Nigerians rejected that claim, citing the scale of poverty and unemployment in the country. The National Bureau of Statistics said its assessment shows 469,070 jobs were created in the economy during the first quarter, with the informal sector yielding 332,403 new jobs as the most active. Total jobs created for the period, the report said, increased by 99,585 (about 26.95%) over 369,485 jobs in the 4th quarter of 2014.

Where are the jobs ?

who were offered the jobs Huh? .......the poor masses or the already rich elite in Nigeria ....

The NBS must be on cheap drugs .. Saying jobs where created in his sphere of the economy that is dealing in big time abstract and this amounts to a big fat lie ......

They should make available of the sphere in which this so called job where created , they should also tell which part of the sector employed this number or person and that number of person ......... All this will provide room for verification ......

They shouldn't toy with out not so common sense and think we all will swallow abstract ....

If things don't happen around you it doesn't mean they are not happening. You can't be everywhere at a time so be informed
