Ooops: Brazilian Legend Pele Undergoes 3rd Surgery In 8 Months

Brazilian legend Pele has been admitted to an hospital in Sao Paulo  for the third time in eight months.

Pele who is now 74 Years old spent two weeks in hospital in December and then underwent prostate surgery in May.

Press officer for the Albert Einstein hospital, Mirtes Bogea , confirmed Pele was a patient but she was unable to provide any other details on Saturday.

Pele’s personal assistant Jose Fornos Rodrigues later told Reuters that Pele underwent a surgery to decompress a nerve root in his spine.

The GloboNews news channel in Brazil reported that Pele is expected to leave hospital on Monday.
