I Have No Qualms With S3x Roles — Regina Chukwu

Popular Yoruba actress, Regina Chukwu, is a first rate actress who knows her job even though she is an Igbo woman from Enugu State. Being Igbo has not in any way limited the types of roles she could take on as a Yoruba role interpreter. She is so in her element and at home with Yoruba films that she has produced many films of her own.

She is such a consummate actress that believes every actress should be able to deliver any role given, even if it asks some questions of personal beliefs. In a recent chat with Potpourri, she said she has done some sex scenes in her career.

“I have done it one or two times. Acting is make-believe so you have to be comfortable when you’re doing it and you also have to take into consideration that our society does not really support some things; they may just condemn you for doing some things but that does not mean we would not do it.

We only have to be considerate when we’re doing it. There was this movie I shot but I don’t think it’s out yet; we were supposed to shoot a scene where we were making love, serious lovemaking. After the director did it and everything, I made sure that they did a kind of behind the scene shoots where people would see that I was actually wearing clothes. I made that demand because of my children particularly, they are kids and they would not understand. I made them do a behind the scene so that when we finish, people can see that so many people were in the room while we were doing it”

Gabriel Afolayon, Tayo Odueke and some other people starred in the movie with her.
