Oyo State Police Command in Ibadan on Wednesday, paraded a 42-year old ex-bank staff identified as Olayinka Olatunji for impersonation as he was arrested for parading himself as a police officer. The state police Commissioner, Mohammed Katsina who spoke through his spokesperson, Adekunle Ajisebutu (DSP) told newsmen that the impersonator was arrested for impersonating as an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), adding that, he was arrested in his office at Iwo-road shopping complex where he was defrauding innocent people. The commissioner disclosed that the police found on the impersonator a fake police warrant card and a portrait of himself in full police uniform with the rank of an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP 1). Admitting to the allegation levied against him, he said that he has been in the business since March this year, disclosing that he bought the police accessories from an undisclosed Police Training School. He said that he used the police uniform to disguise himself as a police officer to transport imported fairly used cars from one location to another
