This day understands that Maryam Babaginda, the wife of General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida, former military president of Nigeria, is dead. Recall that Maryam, who suffers from ovarian cancer, was hospitalized in a California hospital for months. 

Huhuonline.com learnt that all the former aides of the ex-president are currently at his hill top mansion in minna, while IBB who was by his wife’s bed side at the time of death, is still in California.  Our checks reveal that the Babangida family has received condolence messages, particularly from former Governor of Niger State, Engr. Kure.
