One of them accused me of calling him a thief when he and his colleagues were trying to extort 50 naira from my father's staff who was driving the car I was in. The said Mopol went on bragging how he was sponsoring 5 undergraduates in addition to the fact that he would take us to the police station where he vowed that he wouldn't let us off if payed less than 5000 Naira. I will never forget that incident. The funny part is that I did not utter a word let alone calling him thief. I guessed his conscience pricked him.
