Get your facts right blogger, dont dont create quagmire in the minds of people . Superintendent Yamoah has asked the public to disregard a video footage circulating on the social media claiming that two Nigerians were grabbed with dead body in their car boot at Haatso, a suburb of Accra.
A 29-year-old Nigerian who allegedly rammed his vehicle into a crowd of Catholic faithful at Taifa Bankyease, a suburb of Accra, killing one person in the process, has been arrested by the Kwabenya District police.

Joshua Nathanial, who was driving a Toyota Corolla saloon car, committed the act on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at about 1pm.

He was alleged to have committed the act under the influence of alcohol.

The victims, according to information, were members of the St Dominic Catholic Church, Taifa Bankyease branch, who had gathered to visit a sick church member.

The deceased has been identified as Grace Addai, 60, while three others sustained various degrees of injury. Two of the victims were treated and discharged but a man, identified as Alfred Setrome, about 67 years old, was still on admission at the Ashongman Community Hospital receiving treatment.

The body of the woman has since been deposited at the Police Hospital for preservation and autopsy while investigations continue.

Briefing the DAILY GUIDE, Superintendent Victoria Yamoah, Kwabenya District Police Commander, said her outfit received information about the accident around 1pm last Thursday and a team of police personnel were immediately dispatched to the scene.

Preliminary investigations revealed that Joshua Nathanial, in a company of another person yet to be identified, was driving the Toyota Corolla with registration number GE 2696-15 from Taifa Bankyease using a rough road and trying to join the main Taifa road.

When the blood alcohol content (BAC) of Nathanial was checked using the breathalyzer, the police discovered that it was 0.27 BAC instead of the approved 0.8 BAC.

He is still in police custody assisting in investigations.
