The 78-year-old pontiff landed in Washington today for his first visit to the US. President Barack Obama arrived the tarmac with his wife Michelle and daughters Malia and Sasha to welcome the pontiff when his plane landed minutes ago at Joint Base Andrews. More photos after the cut...
