Police Nowhere To Be Found AS Daredevil Armed Robbers Raid Banks Unchallenged In Festac

Men of the underworld on Tuesday morning laid siege on two commercial banks in Festac area of Lagos.
The armed robbers stormed the area at about 7:30am, holding customers and residents hostage for over two hours, Naijapals reports.
The robbers reportedly accessed the area through the canal on Fourth Avenue and successfully carried out their operations.
According to residents, the police was nowhere to be found during the over two hours the robbery lasted and only surfaced when the bandits had left.
The newspaper reports that while some of them escaped through the same canal, others drove through the 23 Road, shooting sporadically as they made away with their loot.
When contacted, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Joseph Offor, confirmed the incident, but said he could not give further information because policemen were still on the field.

How would you find police, when we always condem our police, when police arrest the culprit, Nigerian will call them innocent, when they confront the robbers and eventual kill some of them, Nigerians will say innocent. If they were arrested at scene oof crime. Nigerians will say police are violating thir  human right. But if police. Were killed on the course of confronting them, nobody cares.

I dont like this kind of news. How is it that armed robbers ALWAYS get away with their loot? They claim that Lagos is a mega city, yet the so-called mega city can't boast of trained policemen that can combat criminals. Lagos is not a village, let our police stop giving excuses for their incompetence!

News didn't say dare devil armed robbers robbed for 2 mins, it said the robbers robbed customers of their hard earned money for about 2 hrs & u say our police have to hide their heads? Mtchewwwww. Wot re they collecting salaries for? Tomorrow now we'll read that they've arrested innocent ppl for the crime
