Former Kebbi State governor, Usman Dakingari, was invited to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) headquarters for questioning over allegations that he laundered N3.8 billion from the state. According to reports, he arrived at the headquarters at 10 a.m today.
The report further states:
Dakingari is an in-law to late former Nigerian President Umaru Musa Yar’dua.  Recently, the EFCC arrested Dakingari’s wife, Zainab. She was accused of laundering N2billion for her husband. Dakingari was elected governor of Kebbi state on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party in 2007.
