Two Persons Feared Dead As Hoodlums Clash In Mushin Area Of Lagos

Two persons were feared dead when hoodlums went on the rampage in Mushin area of Lagos. The victims, Wale Musa, an Islamic cleric, and a food vendor identified as Rukayat aka Mama Islamiyat, were killed on Ike Olu Street, after they were hit by stray bullets.

It was gathered that the attack, which was a reprisal, was carried out by about seven armed men, about 10pm on Tuesday, who shot sporadically.

The attack, it was gathered was sequel to the murder of one Lateef Abiola on Sunday on Agbe Kolade Street at Idi-Oro, which prompted his gang to attack his suspected killers. But when they could not get the rival gang members, the hoodlums were said to have unleashed terror on innocent residents.

Wale was said to be eating the noodles prepared for him by the food vendor when stray bullets hit him. According to a resident, Kolawole Ajibade, the gunshot lasted about 20 minutes. Ajibade explained that they did not know there were casualties until the assailants left.

Why you dey yarn like dis now? Mushin is the synonym of social vices my brova..chaos starts without warning @ all..the government just dey pretend say dem no know as e dey go..na dem boys be dem foot soldiers during elections..government should be proactive rather than reactive..people know dis boys,they should be rounded up ASAP!

Don't we have security agents in this country? I know most of our policemen aid these cultists but we ought to have a few who are on their job. This is baffling bcos stray bullet have no family, they can hit anybody anywhere. Oh God have mercy on us!!!
