@Spekay - Nigerian government is definitely not responsible for criminal activities that may be perpetrated by Nigerians and non-Nigerians.

YES , i completely agree with you.  Thanks for amplifying that point for  RogerM

The fact that the Nigerian Govt is clamping down on the 419 fraudsters with support from International Anti Crime agents shows that Nigerian Govt has no reason to support such crimes as believed by many outsiders who feel that the Nigerian government actually encourages such swindlers damaging our pubic image in the civilized World.

Any attempt to pay back the fraudster victims might send a wrong message of government connivance with the fraudsters in the first place.  the most that could done is track down the offenders and make them pay back their victims.

Thank you so much Omatu . If only people can get the right advice on what to do with such dark activities it will make their lives  much eazier and leave many innocent peaceful  Nigerians who have never even been to the Internet before out of the horrible insults being passed around.  Its really a shame people cant think more broadly .

To ALL who still believe Nigeria's name should be on the list. Please read the attached article by the UK govt.
on the listing of 7 of their citizen on the watch list.
Questions!
Why didn't US list Mutab as an individual as was in the case of UK terrorist, rather than the whole Nigerian nation?
Also, why is Britain struggling to have names of convicted terrorist removed from the list
?

Listing us is the first step taking to hatch an ill conceilled plan against Nigeria as a nation.

I totally agree with you. These people US have a hidden agenda besides branding us a nonentity.  Very few people can appreciate the full extent of this blemish as they are not directly affected either because they are just unaware or they already secured some other country's passport so they couldn't care less what happened to others less privileged .   Your question also confirms American double standard..   I can recall during Bill Clinton's time in office  when the US embassy was bombed in Nairobi, Kenya .  The Americans  rescue force came in and were passing over injured Kenyan citizens who are staff of the US consulate  going only for American white diplomats to be removed from the rubble in that consulate .  I remember Kenyans protesting this  horrendous act of gross racial discrimination and superiority complex as a nation soon after that incident trying to remind the Superpower that soul equal soul and that one life is not more precious thatn another before God who created us all . A nation that tends to see every other nation as second class citizens and when africans non class citizens and so deserving every gross and inhuman treatment.

Amen to that prayer oo   Admittedly the country is really sick but God can cleanse the land .  the leader you get is a reflection of the overall state of consciousness of the masses . Like begets likes .  we really need to look within to bring changes for a better future outwardly . corruption complacency nepotism arrogance  bigotry hatred selfishness discrimination and all similar negative virtues are  all offsprings of ignorance i bet the greatest of enemies against oneself either individually or as a nation.
We pray for better times if everyone can do his or her own part .  then the whole can take care of itself .  People voting  2twice or 3 times .for elections only to put a powerless stooge sometimes is one of our major problems . or people seizing power out of selfishness and or greed or gluttony .  if all these can stop and people have love in their heart then we are ready to progress and move forward . to greater glory and get rid of this sickness  . i do agree with u my brother

He wears a suit and speaks for agbada wears? He is defending those who are offending is future? The senate is long under terrorist attack, just because a few scumbags have their palms greased and their lips oiled doesn't mean the rest of 'Nigerians' are not under terrorist attack. How many time wey terrorist attack don happen for Jos? I am glad no Okoro, Oluwale, Essien, Idibia, Fugbara, Edosomwan, Adedeji, Njoku, and the rest of us did this. So now it will take you America to help you to correct this by declaring each and every one of you in this country evil and to be treated with less respect and dignity in the civilized  community ?  Am not getting it clear from your story. Maybe come down to our level . Something crucial i must be missing out there
