An alleged assassination attempt on the Chief of Army Staff by Shiite fighters has led to some controversy.
However, a new video making the rounds shows that Army officials tried to negotiate with the Shiites who obstructed the road and prevented access to the Chief of Army Staff’s convoy.
Although much of the conversation is in Hausa, a senior officer is seen telling soldiers “don’t shoot”.

Just take a look at how the army are begging this hausa guys to stop what they are doing well this will show you that we are not the same in this country, for example if it was a South South demonstration wouldn't they beat us up? Yes they will. It simply because we are not hausa.

Top army officers risk their life begging terrorists to leave the road and they refused, so what do you expect

For me i dnt blame nigeria solider for what happen recent. you they need to protect there boss, they dnt play with them. i dnt knw why shiitu men will be playing with there boss, they suppose have obey these solider in the first place.
