don't u think the girl may have known you inside out since you said she was your best friend's girl? and that she may have sense some incompactabilities and thus the refusal? if you were good for her in her words she could have said you give her time or something to give you hope and not a capital NO! so please let the girl be since she is still nursing a broken heart while you you wake up from hallucinating!

Boy i warn you this matter no be moi moi matter, don't force this lady into marrying you cos you will end up heart broken. This lady knew exactly what will happen in future if she goes ahead to marry you. Be careful, you end up preparing palatable soup which your friend will come back to eat in future.
