7 secondary school students in Osun State have been remanded in prison over a riot action they took after the state government refused to pay their West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) fees.
The students reportedly unleashed terror on the workers of Orisun FM Radio station, Ile-Ife last week Thursday, February 4.
A condition had been attached to the payment of the WAEC fees by the government. The students were required to have made four credit passes during their mock examination before they can qualify. Unfortunately, the arrested students were unable achieve this.

The arrested students are; Ayodele Michael (18), Adeleke Sodiq (18), Adisa Sefiu (16), Adebisi Jamiu (16), Olatunji Segun (16), Ayoh Festus (16) and Chioma Anuoluwapo (16).
They were accused of allegedly attacking the radio station, vandalising valuable properties, including vehicles parked within the premises of the station, Tribune reports.
Court records show that that the suspects conspired and unlawfully destroyed Oduduwa College sliding library windows, hall building roof and gate which values are yet to be known before heading to Orisun Radio station where properties worth millions of naira were also vandalised.
They also willfully and unlawfully destroyed a Toyota Camry car with registration number OS 46 A42, Nisaan Premira Wagon car with registration OS 38 A42, Toyota Hiace Bus with registration number OS 45 A42 belonging to Orisun FM.
Other properties allegedly destroyed by the suspects included a Nissan Primera car with registration number LND 777 DC, property of one Mrs Joke Eluyemi, and back screen of one Toyota Avalon Saloon car with registration number LSD 400 DK belonging to Federal Road Safety Commission.
The court case was adjourned till March 1, 2016 for mention.

Are they trying to tell me only 7 students unleashed all this mayhem? Hmmm!!
On a lighter note, I think the screen of that road safety vehicle may have already been smashed before the riot.
