During the week, the Nigeria's former anti-corruption czar Mallam Nuhu Ribadu was demoted from the rant of Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) to a Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) by the Police Service Commission,a step that is three times below his level.
What do U think is responsible for this action?Do u think some powerful bad people are trying to get back at him?Or is the IG & his boys trying to force the young man out of the force?Let's get ur take on this.
i think just reading this would just tell u
he is fighting Nigeria(corruption) and so the rich and corrupt guys (Nigeria ) would not let him
is that easy

Reports by the media yesterday have it that Ribadu might be sacked soon by the NPF.This is said to be predicated on the fact that he sued them.According to the report, the NPF will base their action on a rule that states that a serving officer is not supposed to sue the force. The drama is still unfolding>Let's watch & see where the plot leads us.

Former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, yesterday filed an application before a Federal High Court in Abuja, challenging the query served on him by the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mr. Mike Okiro.
The decision of the former EFCC boss to file the fresh application in Abuja through his counsel, Mr. Charles Musa, means the matter would no longer be heard in Lagos where hearing on the case was going on.
Ribadu had dragged the Police Service Commission (PSC), the IGP and the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice before a Federal High Court in Lagos, challenging his recent demotion from the rank of an Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) to a Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP).
But the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Akperebi Akpoebi, reacting to the suit, had said Ribadu lacked the locus standi to sue the police because he is still in the service of the force.

UPDATE
A new twist was yesterday introduced into the face-off between former chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu and the police authorities as he and his family members were manhandled by security officials at the venue of the graduation ceremony of participants in the senior executive course of the National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS).
Ribadu, a participant in the course was billed to graduate alongside 64 others and had sat with his wife, children and other relatives inside the Unity Conference Hall of NIPSS where the graduation ceremony was to take place when a senior police officer told him to go out and dress properly in his uniform.
Just before he could react to this order, another order came from the chief security officer of the institute that Ribadu should vacate the hall immediately. He was said to have stood up at that point. The security officials around however decided to drag and shove him, his wife and children out of the hall.
He was further told that he would not receive his certificate of graduation even though his name was in the list of the graduands.
His wife and six children and other close associates who have come to rejoice with him were also pushed out by the security men. They all followed Ribadu to his chalet, NIA Circle 12 at the far side of the participants' quarters.

Can President Yar'Adua pretend not to know what is going on with Ribadu?Put differently, will our rule of law president claim to to be a aware of the trials of brother Nuhu?Well, every dog has his day.Today,it's the turn of Ribadu.Tomorrow it might be the turn of Aondaooka.

Nigeria is really a land where anything goes. Now, it seems like Ribadu never happened. Like he never existed at any time in our miserable history. Only God will help us.
