Yesterday, following the accident that claimed the lives of the Minister of State for Labour, James Ocholi, his wife and son, Senator Dino Melaye visited the National Hospital in Abuja to see the deceased. Not long after, popular Twitter critic Kayode Ogundamisi shared a photo of the vehicle the senator rode to the hospital – the 2015 Slingshot that sparked reactions days ago. “For Dino Melaye, everything is a show,” Ogundamisi said, adding, “no sense of propriety or sensitivity.” But the Kogi West senatorial district representative has clapped back at critics who felt he went to show off at the hospital. “Na bad belle wey no get cure,” Melaye said, before explaining why he took the Slingshot to the hospital. “I lost a brother and friend. From my sport place I rushed.”
I have been reporting for several years now and I am very interested in visual news reportage with strong inclusion of photos and video multimedia.
