It wasn’t a good weekend for Manchester City’s superstar, Samir Nasri as not only did his team lose the much awaited derby to Manchester United on Sunday, his cherished N123.7million supercar was impounded by British police the same day.
According to reports in respected British tabloid, Daily Mail UK, Nasri’s N123.7m to N148.5m (£275 to £330k) Lamborghini Aventador was impounded after he was pulled over by police on his way to watch the derby match between the two rival teams.
While it’s been an injury-hit season for Premier League footballer Samir Nasri, it appears his luck is still out after having his Lamborghini Aventador Pirelli Edition impounded.

Daily Mail reports that the 28-year-old Manchester City midfielder was seen leaning against the wall after being pulled over by police, as his supercar was not registered in Britain.
Nasri was pictured on Wilson Street in the Beswick area of the city, not far from his club’s multi-million pound training complex, before being picked up by a club chauffeur.
The incident occurred as the star made his way to the Manchester derby on Sunday, where his side lost to bitter rivals Manchester United – thanks to a Marcus Rashford strike.
This comes just days after the Frenchman was pictured leaving the Etihad Stadium in the Lamborghini, as he continues his recovery from long-term injury.
Nasri only recently returned to training and has been feeling his way back to full fitness.
He is expected to make a playing return in early April and was involved fully with training at the Etihad ahead of City’s derby defeat against rivals United.
It’s not the first run in Nasri has had with the law over his cars and in 2013 he was banned from driving for six months after losing a battle with police over unpaid speeding fines.
The winger was also ordered to pay N855,000 (£1,900) in fines after admitting three charges of failing to provide police with the identity of who was driving his Mercedes when it was flashed by speed cameras three times.
