Vice President Yemi Osinbajo says the Federal government will begin payment of the N5000 to the poor in Nigeria once the 2016 budget is signed by President Buhari. Osinbajo also disclosed that the government is also planning to train a minimum of 100, 000 young Nigerians in technology.

Osinbajo disclosed this while speaking at the United Action for Change Town Hall Meeting at Ikeja Airport Hotel Lagos today April 23rd. What he said at the townhall meeting were tweeted by his Senior Special Assistant-Media&Publicity, Laolu Akande.

My dear friend, can you please explain the full meaning of this nonsense. "We shall begin to pay N5000 to d poor as soon as the budget is passed. It's wasn't meant for unemployed graduates".
How will they identify the poor?. Have you ever hear western world using this insultive language?. Even Barrack Obama will never address his own citizen in this manner.
unemployment is serious issue worldwide.
Think and stop being a big foul.
Anyone can write whatever he/her think, but many people are crying and dying, only waiting for change.
I never voted or supported any politician, because nothing good will come out of this. This is all about business and nothing more.

One need to be very strong and recuse he/herself from this current government.
This is almost half of the year and we still dey wait for budget.
This is my first time seeing a Country running without a budget.
Change indeed.

We don't need the 5k, rather give us uninterruptible power suply, good road networking, adequate water supply, then you would know Nigeria youths are not lazy. The 5k payment is definitely going to be a failure as there is no database for the precise number of poor individuals and the yardstick of the poor. Who are the poor ones in the first instance? What are the basis for determining a poor person?
