Traffickers Impregnate and Abandons A 13 Years Old Girl In Uyo, Akwa Ibom (Photos)

Ekemini is a pregnant 13-year-old girl who was rescued in Uyo on Thursday May 5. According to DINNødhjælp/ACAEDF Childrens home, a non-profit foundation who shared the story, the man who abused, impregnated and abandoned the teenager has been arrested and dragged to court.



DINNødhjælp/ACAEDF Childrens Home is owned Anja Ringgren Loven, the Danish woman who made global headlines after she rescued a little boy abandoned to die over accusations of witchcraft in Akwa Ibom. She has now adopted the boy after nursing him back to health.

Meet this young and beautiful girl. She is our new child at DINNødhjælp/ACAEDF Childrens Home. Her name is Ekemini, 13 years old and pregnant !David Emmanuel Umem and our team in Nigeria rescued her yesterday. The accused who has admitted to be responsible is currently facing the full weight of the law so we cannot comment further because the case is currently in court. It´s also the reason we cannot show her face in public.

But the most important thing right now is that the girl is finally safe! She has suffered a lot and been abused and abandoned! But we will make sure that she receives all the love and care that she needs. At DINNødhjælp/ACAEDF Childrens home she will be given a more brighter future, and we will help her raise her little baby. We will make sure that she fulfill all her dreams despite becoming a mother at only 13 years old!'
