Thirty-Three Nigerians, made up of 29 males and four females, were deported from the United States of America on Wednesday.
The deportees arrived the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, aboard a chartered flight at about 1pm.
The special flight with aircraft registration number N738MA had onboard 13 crew members and 22 American security agents.
According to security officials at the Lagos airport, five of the deportees were sent back to the country for committing passport related offences; 28 for tax clearance offences; and five for drug offences.
Also, 22 of the deportees were held for police related offences and six for immigration offences.
There were fears that more Nigerians may be deported from US this year following its listing as one of America’s 14 “countries of interest”
Sixty-eight Nigerians, were last week deported from Europe while over 1,000 were sent home from various countries last year.

People get a free ticket home every where in the world not only Nigerians. Here its the Poms who overstay the most. And you do a crime yep no matter what race you get deported.
But 22 security guards for 33 deportees wow thats over the top but you can call that a flight of luxury back home. Just think how much did this cost the American taxpayer???

u dnt ave to climb the highest mountain, wat u're looking for is within u..why go abroad if not for studies? @kemoprosper: wat u said is true. in fact govt. should look into the matter but that does not make them to go out and involve in dirty business. our country has a reputation. it should be protected.

what about d americans,chinese and orther nationalities living in nijja without valid documents..they should be deported as well!!!...as for those that were deported,pls dont give up,try ur best look 4 anoda visa and leave.nijja is a very useless country.....living without visa in orther countries is worth it as america is worth bombing by muslims....

Do u have work for them in europe or usa?! Do u think is that easy? Have u not heard about the economy crisis? Even, if they would have been legally there, is hard to get a job this days. For excample in germany is hard to now. Even graduates,, professors r doing donkey jobs with low payment, just beeing happy to have something to do. While their income cant contain all their basic costs, like houserent, light, etc.

It s not worth it. It´s hard enough to survive abroad as legally person.
But if u go as "illegally one", there is high rate of regrette and depression on it. Officially u don´t exist anywhere there. U r always afraid of beeing catched by police and getting high blood pressure and heart attack. U have also no insurance in case u r becoming sick cause officially u dont exist. No serious company will like to employ u cause ur datas do not exist. So, u will be used by greedy wicked bosses, doing donkey jobs, which u would never even do in nigeria. And for that dirty job u would just receive a pocket money. At times ur boss will not even pay u one penny cause he knows, u r illegally here. U could only try and use another person s papers. Which would be another crime and risk. And as such "man on the street", which girl with wify qualities would like to accept u? U would struggle and suffer for years. Living a useless life abroad. U may would marry any first best girl crossing ur way, which is far away from ur taste, only to get legally stay. Later u must divorce her, which is also a sin in front of GOD. In fact ur whole life would been worst and wasted for years.
If u intend to go abroad, make sure, that u get legally documents and that u inform urself about the desired country´s culture and language in advance. And forget the idea, that money is laying on the street abroad. Be prepared, that life abroad will be hard in the beginning. Stay straight and marry only a girl, u really love from ur heart and u want to stay rest of ur life with. If u know what u want and if u keep trying to adjust to ur new country, then u will have no problem in future.
