A suspected Fulani herdsman has reported beheaded a woman severely injured two others in Illah community, Oshimili North Local Government Area, Delta State.
According to Vanguard, the herdsman allegedly attacked the victims while they were fishing at Otu Ngegu (Gulugulu) in Ajaji area of the community.
The herdsman was said to have used cutlasses on the victims after a failed attempt to rape them.
Pulse recalls that herdsmen had previously attacked communities in the state.

The people of Obiaruku community, Ukwani Local Government Area, State, had told the Fulani herdsmen to vacate their land following incessant violent attacks on their indigenes.

What is this country turning into? Why is Buhari not organizing the police and military to attack the herdsmen just like they did the IPOB demonstrators and protesters? The fulani herdsmen are farmers just like other farmers in the country; why should the whole country bear the cost of their cattle rearing? They make profit from selling the cattle, and the profits are not shared as community money, why then is the entire nation suffering because of only one element of our economic sector?
