BREAKING: Niger Delta Avengers Launches New Website Following Shut Down

New militant group operating in the oil-rich Niger Delta of Southern Nigeria, Niger Delta Avengers has launched a new website address following a shutdown of its previous website.
The new website, www.nigerdeltaavengers.org is a mirror of the old one, www.nigerdeltaavengers.com which is no longer available.

The group announced on its Twitter handle a few minutes ago Sunday, June 5, 2016 saying it’s website was never shut down as reported by some news outlets, but undergoing maintenance.
IT specialists say that the militant group was using a free hosting service provided by Blogspot, a Google company and it is most likely that Google took down the website following complaints from officials of the Buhari government.
A visit to the old website address will show you an error message, only possible if your website was hosted by Blogspot.

Who are the Niger Delta Avengers
Niger Delta Avengers is a new militancy group that is operating in the oil-rich region of Southern Nigeria.
The militants say they are waging a war for a free Niger Delta Republic in what it tags, Operation Red Economy, with a view of halting crude oil production in Nigeria to force the government to grant the group’s demands.
The militant group has released its rules of engagement and says that it doesn’t kill anybody or attack oil workers or soldiers. The Delta Avengers called on all other groups operating in the region to abide by these rules of engagement. “We need God now, more than ever,” the group said in a statement.
The Niger Delta Avengers has presented an 11-point demand to President Muhammadu Buhari and the first is the implementation of the recommendations of the 2014 National Conference. [Download Conference report HERE.]
Pro-Biafra secessionist group, Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, has pledged “total allegiance” to the Niger Delta Avengers extolling the militant group for supporting the cause of a free Biafra. MASSOB embraces the tenets of nonviolence. It is led by Ralph Uwazuruike, a lawyer.

Well, many people got it wrong about this guys struggle,  foreign companies drilling oil
polluting the communities for past 40 years have not been called criminals
but the host community asking for a better life is been called criminals,/ vandals,
Struggling for self rule is all over the world, why is Nigeria own different?
e.g. Quebec in Canada, Hog-Kong and Taiwan in Mainland China, Scotland/WALES
Yala in Thailand, Texas in USA which was a part of Mexico  all the mentioned above,
the sitting government handle things with diplomacy which is absent in Nigeria case.
All this countries don’t even have the natural resources the Niger Delta has!
SO long I don’t believe in violence, it said an action causes reaction,
The cord and the ladder supposed to be blamed instead of the hanged man!

The environment have already been polluted for decade, so pollution is not new to the avengers!

The truth of the matter is that their so called representative or leaders from Niger Delta has failed them. They did nothing to them than their selfish interest.

* The best person to have met all this demand is GEJ. Why did he failed them for 6 yrs.
* What did the Niger Delta ministry etc did for their community with the FG budget. The present govt is prosecuting and probing their embezzlement and misappropriation of fund.
* What project did their representative did for them. Asari Dokubo built University in Togo and never build     Classroom in their community.
* So also the other militant leaders.

The community suffers for this so called Selfish and heartless leaders in the pretend that they are fighting for their community. The community never benefit ANYTHING from them. Not even 1 thing.

WHAT I SUPPORT IS BETTER PROGRAM OF DEVELOPMENT, COMPENSATION THAT WILL BENEFIT ALL THE COMMUNITY FROM THE GOVT AND NOT SO CALLED MILITANT OR GROUP OF PEOPLE FOR THEIR SELFISH INTEREST.
