This morning, for unknown reasons, a female soldier committed suicide at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in Kenya, causing total chaos at the popular east African airport. The yet-to-be-identified female was found after she had reportedly shot herself in the head; she had locked herself up in one of the toilets of the Kenya Airport Police Unit offices at the Terminal 1 section of the airport. While the police is yet to make an official report on the death, unconfirmed reports say the officer had been under too much stress. “The incident was a stress-motivated suicide,” the report said. No official police report was available as at press time.
