Over my years and travels one of the strangest things I have come to realize it that our society seems to have forgotten the art of making up.
Is it that we have become too lazy, too selfish, or honestly just dont know?
Maybe I am just old school when it comes to this but I always believed that you dont crosslines and expect to make up for mistakes that could get you booked on Jerry Springer. Those things used to be relationship enders. Most decent folks knew not to cross those lines. But we all make mistakes at times and I thought a great rule of thumb was to make up big over the little stuff and dont cross the line with your mistakes. Now it seems that the are of making up is a lost art. People still mess up but it's like they dont put any effort in the making up department. I messed up, I finally admit it, I apologized, ok now get over it. That is what we have come to. Maybe it is the die-hard romantic in me but I cant conform to this.
Making up over little stuff can be fun and creative. Doesnt have to be sex! Sex is good though but the thought, time, creativeness....all play a part in how fun making up can be.
So do YOU really know how to make up? You can answer truthfully to yourself. What are some of the ways you make up? If you have children old enough to be dating, what did you teach them about making up? Is this even being passed down any more?
You would think that with all the messing up people are doing nowadays that making up would be plentiful. Not so much I believe.
Is the art of making up really too much for people in this day and age

You only make up if you value your rship & truely love the person,I guess the first thg will be to talk things over and then take it from there.....

is always diffcult to see one real make up this days... it seems as if Love has gone on exile.. even after many talks and pleas to forgive and forget,.. is still diffcult for most peole to put it aside and move on. anytime, anything happen they will recall old wound back.

yeah thats true....but before you make up,both parties need to understand each other and deal with the issue that caused the breakup/problem, not just pushing it aside and moving on cos it will come up another day

Atimes i ask this question, what has happend to the real word ''I LOVE U'' people use to sing as daily songs. the same people will have misunderstanding, and the next thing u will hear is breakup or divorce.. whats not in good place there? seems to be the most controversial issue.
even when they claim to understand each other, talk it over and so on.. there is this still scar of it.. is not easy for some to really put it aside and move on. some will use it as a weak side to one party, every single thing he/she will remind the other party the past, is not always easy. I could say 2 out of 10 could manage to forget and move on.
