Orobosa Igbinedion, daughter of Esama of Benin, Chief Gabriel Igbinedion, and Umar Ibrahim-Mantu, son of Ibrahim Mantu, the former Deputy Senate President from Plateau state had their wedding Fatiyya yesterday Friday, October 7th in Abuja after getting married traditionally on September 24th in Benin.

A Wedding Fatiya [Or Fatiha, depending on preference] is a ceremony where the bride's family hosts a reception in their home. The groom then formally asks for the bride's hand in marriage from her father or the eldest man in the family.
