Serious Riot Breaks Out In Illaro Ogun State After Policeman Kills An Okada Rider

There is tension in Ilaro, host community of Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro,  in Yewa South Local Government Area of Ogun State.

The cause of the tension and unrest is the alleged shooting of a hapless commercial motorcyclist, known as Okada rider, by a police officer.

Eye witnesses allege that the accused officer allegedly fatally shot the rider for refusing to pay bribe.

Pandemium erupted when the okada rider was gunned down, and as at the time of this report we cannot yet confirm the status of the police officer.
