Just four days after signing for a new club, Cameroonian player Samuel Nlend has been sacked for testing positive to HIV. Nlend last week was signed by Egyptian Premier League side Ittihad of Alexandria from Cameroonian club USD Union Douala. During his medicals, the 21-year-old Nlend was tested positive for HIV which led to the club sacking him.
The player had signed a three-year contract when he joined the club from USD Union Douala. Nlend according to Egyptian news outlet, Kingfut, Nlend was approached by Cairo giants Al Ahly before he joined Ittihad of Alexandria.
“I preferred joining Ittihad after I knew the big effort the club has done in order to reinforce the team with great players,” the 21-year-old striker said after signing for the Alexandria-based club. It is not known if other clubs will accept him..

he should try law suit who knows he may succeed. though circumstances and conditions varies. this is where the contract he signed has to be thoroughly scrutinized to assess if he has a claim against his club.
