Ooni Of Ife, Forbidden To Make Contact With Mere Mortals As OLOJO Festival Begins

In Preparation for the Olojo Festival which will begin on 14th of October and end on the 17th,The Ooni of ife Oba Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi,Ojaja II will go into five days Seclusion from today Sunday October 9th.

Whilst in seclusion the Ooni is forbidden to make contact with mere mortals and will only be in contact with 'Spirits'.


Oonirisa will come out of Spiritual Solitude on Friday Morning to begin the Olojo Festival

Na wah...How is it possible to stay away from human beings?Wont he eat?go to Toilet?Have his Bathe?
