According to Facebook page Ibommobile News, the founder of the Uyo collapsed church, Apostle Akan Weeks, which claimed many lives, may have his leg amputated.
See photo after the cut...
I have been reporting for several years now and I am very interested in visual news reportage with strong inclusion of photos and video multimedia.

That building wasn't due for roofing, if you ask me I'd say those columns were enough to carry the roof but the rear columns were not yet connected by beams to the columns that carry the actual roof members, more like the skeletal system of the building wasn't chained yet. The main cause of the incident to me is the client's rush to put an incomplete building to use..... Or maybe one of the roof trusses failed thereby bringing the rest down, it's not juju as some people have started insinuating here. Anyway, this is Nigeria, where juju takes the blame for our failures. God heal him.

And Nigerians are good to only cry when things happens. Start calling witch and wizards. Like Niger bridge in East that are shaking since 10 years now. Nobody will fix it, 2morrow everybody will be crying.
