Exiled Gambian ruler Yahya Jammeh stole millions of dollars in his final weeks in power, plundering the state coffers and shipping out luxury vehicles by cargo plane, a special adviser for the new president said Sunday. Trending photos on Twitter have shown the moment about 13 luxury cars being loaded into a Cargo Plane from Chad.
Meanwhile, Yahya Jammeh, personally flew out of the country he ruled for 22 years into exile on a plane owned by the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The Falcon jet which ferried Jammeh out of The Gambia on Saturday to Equatorial Guinea where he is expected to settle with his family belongs to Mauritanian president.
