Manchester City VS Swansea City
Sunday (05/02/2017)
14:30 (WAT)
Paul Clement's charges meet Pep Guardiola's side and our tipster is expecting a goal-laden game when the rivalry is renewed at the Etihad Stadium

Manchester City moved to within 10 points of Premier League leaders Chelsea with a fine 4-0 win against West Ham United.

Pep Guardiola's side have scored seven goals without reply in their last two matches and the men from Manchester will be keen to maintain momentum when they play host to Swansea City on Sunday afternoon.

The Swans were boosted in their battle for Premier League survival by a hard-fought 2-1 win against Southampton at Liberty Stadium in midweek and Paul Clement's charges will carry some confidence into this clash, having won three of their last four Premier League matches.

There is certainly plenty of potential for an open and entertaining encounter when these teams renew their rivalry; all but one of the last eight matches between the sides has seen more than two goals scored, while there have been at least three goals scored in each of the Swans' last 11 Premier League matches.

Team news

Manchester City
Willy Caballero could keep his place in goal for Manchester City's Premier League clash with Swansea on Sunday.
The Argentinian has been preferred to Claudio Bravo for City's last two games and he could be retained after keeping clean sheets in both.
Top scorer Sergio Aguero could return to the starting line-up after being on the bench in midweek. City have no injury issues aside from long-term absentee Ilkay Gundogan.
Provisional squad: Caballero, Bravo, Zabaleta, Sagna, Otamendi, Stones, Kompany, Clichy, Kolarov, Toure, Fernando, Fernandinho, Delph, Silva, Sterling, Sane, De Bruyne, Nolito, Navas, Aguero, Jesus, Iheanacho.

Swansea
Swansea are expected to be unchanged for the third successive Premier League game at Manchester City on Sunday.
But Ki Sung-yueng and Luciano Narsingh, who provided a match-winning assist on debut as a substitute in the 2-1 midweek win against Southampton, could come in to contention if head coach Paul Clement decides to freshen his side up.
Club captain Leon Britton has returned to training this week and will be part of the travelling squad.
Provisional squad: Fabianski, Naughton, Fernandez, Mawson, Olsson, Cork, Carroll, Fer, Routledge, Sigurdsson, Llorente, Nordfeldt, Rangel, Kingsley, Amat, Van der Hoorn, Britton, Ki, Fulton, Dyer, Narsingh, Borja.

Key match stats
Manchester City have lost only one of their 11 Premier League matches against Swansea City (W8 D2) and are unbeaten in the last nine.
Swansea have lost all five of their Premier League visits to the Etihad, conceding 12 goals and scoring just two.
Indeed, Swansea haven't won away at City in the league since March 1951, losing all 10 matches since then.
Sergio Aguero bagged a brace in the reverse fixture at Liberty Stadium as the Citizens ran out 3-1 winners. Aguero hadn't scored against the Swans since his PL debut in August 2011, in which he netted twice off the bench.

Gabriel Jesus had a hand in two goals on his first Premier League start in their midweek win over West Ham  one more goal involvement that Aguero in his last five Premier League appearances (one goal, no assists).

In fact, Aguero has got as many red cards (1) as goals (1) in his last five Premier League appearances.

Yaya Toure has had a hand in six goals in his last six Premier League apps against Swansea (four goals, two assists).

Toure has now scored all of his 11 penalties in the Premier League following his midweek spot-kick against West Ham. He has scored the most of any player with a 100% record from the spot in the competition.

City have won just two of their last 12 Premier League games played on a Sunday (W2 D5 L5).

Paul Clement has won three of his four Premier League matches in charge of Swansea (L1)  as many as the Swans won in their first 19 of this campaign.

Swansea have won their last two away Premier League games  they have only won three in a row once before, doing so in August 2014 under Garry Monk.
