One day a widow married her fourth husband.

The husband went to his wife's house.

He sat down in a chair near the bed.

He saw three hats pending from the wall and he admired them and asked: 'What are those three hats?'

The woman stood up and went to the hats.

She took one of the hats from the wall, holding it in front of her husband and said. 'This was for my husband who died in the fire.

Then she took the second one and said, 'This was for my husband who died in the accident.'

And then took the third one and said, 'And this was for my husband who died in the flood.'

The husband stood up from the chair and took his hat from his head and said: 'Take this and say, "This is for my husband who escaped with his bones".
