Another Corps Member Slumps And Dies During Football Match In Akwa Ibom

Sadness has overtaken the National Youth Service Corps, Akwa Ibom State as tragedy befalls one of its members. Another corps member in Akwa Ibom state, simply identified as Abraham died on Thursday. The young man was said to have slumped during a football match with some of his colleagues at Abak zone, Uyo. The information was shared by Akwa Ibom NYSC media group while it regretted the death of the vibrant corps member.
 
According to Akwa Ibom NYSC media,

“Akwa Ibom state lost a Corps member from Abak Zone yesterday; he collapsed 10 minutes into a football match.
 “We rushed him to the nearest private hospital where they did not attend to us for hours. “We later took him to specialist hospital, Uyo where we lost him.”
It was learnt that he was serving at the Nigerian Christian Secondary school, Ukpom Abak. The deceased is expected to be passing out on April 7, 2017 with Batch A stream 1 Corps members.
