Just In: Sterling Bank Sacked Not Less Than 656 Staff

Not less than 656 staff of Sterling Bank have been sacked. A reliable source hinted LagosToday.org that the ‘One-customer Bank’ relieved the staff, mostly outsourced and old, across branches nationwide of their jobs, worsening the swollen rank of Nigerians in the Labour market.

In a memo sent to heads of units, the 656 staff were relieved ‘due to non-performance’. Most of the affected staff received letters of termination since last Friday.
