its simply laziness disturbing them. very common among youth churches like BLW. besides it is abject nonsense to yan crap like that. just liarsss!!!!

Hosea 4:6 is very apt here thus my people suffer for lack of knowledge.What you do not understand,please search and study the scriptures for answers.Speaking in tongues is a spiritual communication and very important for every believer.In 1 Corinthians 14:2,the scripture said:For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.
This clearly shows that when we speak in tongues,we are talking to God because we are speaking from our spirit (the recreated human spirit) and other people may not understand us.The scripture went ahead to add something very striking about speaking in tongues in verse 14 thus For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.
In other words,I do not understand what am praying but my spirit prays.Remember in Romans 8:27-27 26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

 27And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

And when you read verse 18 of Corinthians 14 above,the Apostle Paul made a remarkable declaration about speaking in tongues; I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all:

It is not nonsense but a manifestation of a born again child of God.It stirs the spirit and builds you up as seen in Jude 20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost.Speak in tongues today and witness the transformation it offers.God bless you.

wao, super and fantastic comment here.people are always finding fault in  everything the born again christians do even when they ar biblical but would keep silence about evil traditions around them including the ones they are part of too like the oro festival and tradition that is noting but evil. i posted a topic about it but they all kept silence hence they were afraid of the subject matter but would open their mouth to talk rubbish if it is a topic about pastors and churches even when the topics are not confirmed and may not be true.  please go to this link an make a comment because we are the change  that we want. while we talk about what the government should do that they hve failed to do for us let us also talk about what we can do to help and change things around us.lagos state governor have been talkn about how to stop or reduce the noises from the loadspeakers of churces and mosque in lagos state but have failed to say or do anything about the oro tradition that infringed the right of people to move freely and even their right to life in lagos state. //www.gistmania.com/talk/topic,80033.0.html

The gift and promise of the Holy Spirit was not limited to the 120 that gathered at Antioch.Remember in Acts 1:8,the scripture stated thus:
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
Note here that the 120 that recieved the Holy Spirit are not living today so it actually include all that would believe and confess Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.Remember in John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.
Also John 14:16-17
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

 17Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

And verse 26 also confirms the ministry of the Holy Spirit in the life of a believer thus:
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
The Holy Spirit is still very much available to all that believe.

The bible explained the concept of speaking in tongues...it says in d congregation...if u must speak d language of the spirit,,,then there must be an interpreter by d same spirit...else SHUT-UP
  At pentecost,,,other people understood what d disciples were saying...2 d apostles it was a foreign language but 2 d pple it was OUR LANGUAGE.....lets be mindful....
