Shoplifting which is the act of stealing goods from a shop while pretending to be a customer is becoming rampant nowadays, but technology is militating against the criminal act.
 Even with reduced and seeming absence of man power/physical security, defaulters get caught with the aid of Closed Circuit Televisions secretly hidden by the authorities of supermarkets.
 A full-figured woman in an undisclosed supermarket invaded the wine section of a store and stole a number of bottles and other items freely without the faintest idea that her activities were being monitored on video.
She went as far as hiding some of her loot in her panties and bra. The video of her theft was later released on social media to expose her to security operatives and the public.
