The Jos Peace Concert has come and gone but allegations has surfaced how some core planners of the event made away with some amount of money which was supposed to be shared to all the upcoming entertainers who participated in the event.
One of Jos, fast rising comedian, Julius Awa popularly known by his stage name Oga Talk And Do has been called out by some individuals who claimed a lot of money was allocated to him which he was supposed to share to the entertainers who took part in the event, but rather chose to keep the whole money to himself.
Reacting to this false accusation as claimed by Julius Awa, he made a public disclaimer on his Facebook page stating his innocence. Read full text below:
DISCLAIMERI Julius Awa wish to state as follows1. That I was not involved in any monetary negotiations on behave any JOS ENTERTAINER as regards the just concluded PEACE CONCERT.2. I did not receive any money on behave of any ENTERTAINER.3. That all that I received was my PERFORMANCE FEE which I requested from the organisers for performing at the event. 4. That no money was paid to me. That all money was paid to, received and disbursed by AYUBA DUTSE.
Having said that I'll appreciate that all JOS ENTERTAINERS stop the wildly spread rumour that I am in possession of their pay. Anybody that has not been paid or feel under paid for their performance at the just concluded PEACE CONCERT should direct their grievances to AYUBA DUTSE and not me.
