There is a viral trend going round in some parts of west Africa which sees people dancing obscenely, humping the ground and acting all mentally retarded–this dance is called ‘One Corner’, and it was started by some folks in Ghana.
Over the past few days, folks have uploaded their versions on their social media, while many people from other parts of the continent have criticised them for the obscene behavior.
Well, that dance has finally arrived Nigeria and it is all thanks to Mavin artiste Reekado Banks.
Posting on his Instagram last night, the singer said he was in the studio with his team members when the song came on. They couldn’t resist and performed their versions of it–humping the wall, a chair, even their musical gadgets.
While a few people found the video hilarious, many people have also criticised the singer for partaking in it, and one of the irritated folks is comedian Ushebebe, who took to his page to post a video, calling out Reekado Banks over the dance.
